It is with profound sadness that we announce the death of John Rohr. Our beloved colleague passed away Wednesday morning, August 10, 2011. John was a founding faculty member of CPAP, and an extraordinary teacher, mentor, and scholar. His passion for ideas, his remarkable wit, his style and grace, and his dedication to the study and practice of public administration will be terribly missed by all those who knew him, and by the profession that he so greatly enriched.

Dr Rohr a wonderful teacher and I will miss him a great deal. Every time I read a poem or refer to the Constitution, I think of him! Perhaps our way to remember him is to read his favorite poems - The Highwayman comes to mind - and hold a Constitution Day Forum for Constitutional issues in PA on 17 September annually.

Professor Rohr was a great instructor and mentor to many. He will be remembered for many years to come for all he did to contribute to CPAP.
